Context

Louis Roederer Foundation commissioned an immersive digital retrospective honouring French artist Jean-Michel Alberola. The project coincided with a major exhibition at the Bibliothèque nationale de France and aimed to offer audiences a deeper, more personal exploration of the artist’s decades-long career. Built in collaboration with Alberola himself and exhibited both online and on-site via interactive screens, the website was designed to extend the exhibition experience into a rich, interactive space..

Art Direction & Interaction Design

Working closely with Alberola and creative developer Olivier Biteau, our challenge was to design an interface that felt as layered and intuitive as the artist’s own thought process. Rather than a static archive, the site was conceived as a living map—connecting recurring symbols, ideas, and artworks across time. Every detail was crafted to reflect Alberola’s unique visual language and intellectual rhythm, guiding users through his body of work in an organic, exploratory way.
